MANIFEST (O)

The Power of Manifesting

In the world of art, a manifesto stands as a testament to the artist’s beliefs, principles, and creative vision. A manifesto is more than just a statement; it is a powerful declaration of purpose. A manifesto is an artistic journey of self-expression and a call to action for both the artist and the audience. Drawing parallels with the verb “manifesting,” a profound connection exists between a manifesto and our ability to shape our reality through our thoughts and words.

The concept of manifestos in art dates back to the early 20th century when artists sought to break free from traditional norms and embrace new ideologies. Spearheading revolutionary movements such as Futurism, Dadaism, and Surrealism, artists used manifestos as a means to manifest their vision for a new artistic era. These written proclamations rebelled against the established norms, challenging the status quo and calling for a radical change in artistic expression.

At the same time, the verb “manifesting” has gained even more significance nowadays as many individuals realize the power of thoughts and words in shaping their reality. In the art world, manifesting through manifestos takes on a parallel meaning. Just as artists manifest their artistic vision through written proclamations, we, as individuals, manifest our desires and aspirations through thoughts and words.

The act of manifesting is grounded in the belief that our thoughts are powerful energies capable of attracting what we focus on. By verbalizing our intentions and desires, we set in motion a series of actions that lead us toward our goals. Similarly, an artist’s manifesto is a potent catalyst for manifesting their artistic journey—it sets their intentions and propels them towards their creative objectives.

How does all this connect to my spiritual exploration over the past years? As I delved deeper into myself through practices like meditation, yoga, and spiritual exercises, I began to witness the remarkable impact of my thoughts on my reality.

Knowing all this, I can only see art as the greatest manifestation of all time.

Just for the fact that art itself manifests the inner world, emotions, and perceptions. Each stroke of the brush, each word penned down, and each note played is an act of manifestation. By sharing their art with the world, artists invite others to experience the beauty and depth of their inner world, creating a connection that transcends language and culture.

That is why I share these words with you here, confident of the fact that you will receive the more intense and profound meaning.

FOR A WOR(L)D THAT MATTERS

Art is for those who believe.
No matter what.
Believing is our superpower.
With that, we change the world.
Our words change the world.
Everyday.
